Senior Outreach & Caregiver Services are available to help older adults and their families access appropriate and affordable services for their unique needs. Our licensed social workers also host Caregiver Support Groups in several locations.

| | DONBAR - Support Bar for Zero Turn Lawn Mowers DONBAR - Support Bar for Zero-Turn Lawn Mowers The DONBAR was developed to assist in the mounting and dismounting of a zero-turn lawn mower. The DONBAR provides stability and balance for people facing physical and/or strength challenges by offering an extra point of contact when climbing on and off a mower or moving from a sitting to a standing position. The device mounts on the foot plate of the zero-turn lawn mower (often using the plate's existing holes) and is secured by lock-nuts to resist loosening caused by vibration and torque. The DONBAR is compatible with a variety of zero-turn lawn mowers, including John Deere, Toro, Exmark and most others.

| | Anoka County Community Action Program (ACCAP) ACCAP Chores & More - Supporting Our Senior Community: The Chores & More program utilizes volunteers and paid independent contractors to assist seniors over the age of 60 in Anoka County. Through this program we are able to provide housekeeping services (laundry, vacuuming, sweeping floors, cleaning bathroom or kitchen) and chores services (heavy housework, washing windows and walls; basic home maintenance, yard work: mowing, trimming, snow removal).
