Maplewood Seniors Rehabilitation Service (Inpatient and Outpatient) programs helps people get back on their feet following a serious illness or injury. Minnesota Short-Term Rehab programs were developed in direct response to shorter hospital stays. In the past, patients stayed at the hospital until they were well enough to go home without needing assistance. Today, because hospital stays are more expensive, insurance companies are not paying for stays that are any longer than medically necessary. Thus many people aren't well enough to return home after their discharge.
