Now Playing – Stage Kiss - A charming new romantic comedy.  Does art imitate life? Or does life imitate art? From Pulitzer finalist and Tony Award nominee Sarah Ruhl (Dead Man’s Cell Phone, In the Next Room (or the Vibrator Play)) is this wickedly clever and charming tale about what happens when lovers share a stage kiss — or when actors share a real one. When two actors with a history are thrown together as romantic leads in a forgotten 1930s melodrama, they quickly lose touch with reality as the story onstage follows them offstage. The New York Times hailed Ruhl’s new play a “daffy comedy about the emotional pitfalls of the acting life.” The New York Post said it “aims for big laughs and hits its target.” Vulture raved “Stage Kiss itself is a gift and a rarity: a superb new romantic comedy that does justice to both sides of the genre equation. It’s moving, smart, and flat-out hilarious.” Make a date night for one of the hottest new plays to hit the stage.  Running now through August 30, 2015.   Click Here for tickets or call 612-377-2224.

Student Theatre Camp Experience Rises To Top
Chanhassen Dinner Theatres’ renowned summer theatre camp program, CHAN DT MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP, returns this summer with exciting new themes for youths and teens.  Since 1994, over 11,000 kids and teens have learned about the magic of musical theatre as only Chanhassen can do it. This educational camp program is also terrific summertime fun. Kids and teens, ages eight to eighteen, are given opportunities to explore a wide spectrum of musical theatre components including voice, movement, costumes, scenery, stage combat, improv and more -- all taught by professional members of the Chanhassen acting company, designers and choreographers making the CDT student theatre experience rise above other offered theatre camp programs.  Camp sessions are available throughout the summer months for both half and full day, week-long sessions. This makes the perfect gift for grandchildren who love musical theatre or are looking to make new friends and boost confidence. To register or receive more info, call the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres’ box office at 952-934-1525 or go online to www.chanhassendt.com to watch a video and learn more.
