Now thru December 28, 2014 – A Hunting Shack Christmas - From the playwright who brought you the smash-hit Miracle on Christmas Lake series comes a brand spanking new holiday comedy!  When Charlie and Jennifer hit a rough patch right before their ten-year anniversary, they head to the family hunting shack hoping to rekindle the flames.  But when they arrive three days before Christmas they are shocked to discover Charlie’s estranged uncle Big Paul and his feisty mistress June squatting at the shack and running an illegal venison jerky operation.  Can this oddball foursome work together to have a Merry Christmas?  A true Minnesota comedy featuring deerheads, passive aggressiveness and great big jars of unidentifiable pickled things.  If you loved Miracle on Christmas Lake, you’ll go gaga for A Hunting Shack Christmas!  YellowTree Theatre, 320 5th Ave. SE. Osseo, MN. ALMOST SOLD OUT!  Click Here for Tickets or call the box office at 763-493-8733.

Now thru December 31, 2014 – Waiting for Mrs. Claws - A musical comedy.  It is what seems like any other day in this northern MN rural clinic that tends to patients of both the human and animal variety. It's Christmas Eve, the veterinarian has called in sick leaving a frantic medical doctor and awkward receptionist wanting to get out early. None of this is particularly unusual for the People and Paws Clinic. Until... an unfamiliar and thoroughly charming gentleman, who appears to be blind comes in with his sick cat, 'Mrs. Claws'. At this point, the day becomes' enchanting', as patients arrive in the waiting room for their appointments, but can't seem to leave once they meet this sightless, but uniquely insightful man. This humorous, but touching musical comedy will be just the appointment needed for a meaningful Christmas.  The Seasons Dinner Theatre at Majestic Oaks Golf Club (701 Bunker Lake Blvd. NE, Ham Lake).  Click here for tickets: www.majesticoaksgolfclub.tix.com or call 763-755-2140.

With delightfully witty wordplay, A.R. Gurney’s The Cocktail Hour is a heartfelt comedy of manners that pits artistic pursuit against family loyalty. It’s the 1970s, and John arrives for dinner at his parents’ home carrying the script of his soon-to-be produced play depicting his uptight, upper-crust WASP family. Just as the martinis begin to flow, so do the revelations and recriminations – both funny and poignant. Directed by Maria Aitken (Broadway’s The 39 Steps), The Cocktail Hour is the perfect alternative holiday entertainment.   Click Here For Tickets Call the Box Office at 612.377.2224.
